Friday Find.

Whilst shopping online for my holiday in Sicily, I came across the beautiful Paper Crown collection designed by Lauren Conrad. This beautiful collection appears delicate and feminine with an air of fantasy, the colors are romantic, while the style remains effortlessly chic with tailored influences. I have to say the SS12 collection has left me charmed, intrigued and eager to see more.

Unfortunate news is that for me and anyone else from the UK who is in love with this collection, Paper Crown is only available to buy in the US with the exception of one or two high-end Boutique stores in the UK; so seeing the collection will have to wait. One thing is for sure, as I plan to recreate these looks from the high street there will most definitely be an online order of Paper Crown coming my way very soon. Home on the Hill.

Best start on our doorstep, living in a place like Somerset inspires creativity, being surrounded by vintage boutiques, auctions houses and Sunday markets, its hard not to become absorbed in what a small Somerset town can offer. Take a trip to Frome if you haven't already and make sure you head straight for Catherine Hill, you wont be disappointed if you love vintage fashion, fresh flowers and creative flair, make your way down the cobbled streets past into the Marketplace picking up inspiration for gifts, interiors and outfits and then wash it down with a quintessential pot of tea and piece of cake. It truly is a place of remarkable character and warm welcoming (we live on the right!)

​Visit the Artisans Market held on the cobbled streets of Catherine Hill and unless you're lucky to live on the street like we do, get there early to watch the intriguing sites of the local creatives setting up their stalls on a pretty steep slope, not to be tried at home! The Artisans Market hosts a fantastic selection of fine local foods, wines, gifts and jewellery as well as work from local designers, hope for some good weather and with the music playing, its an all-round lovely event for Catherine hill.
